Dinner Menus

I know I often draw a blank when trying to come up with dinner ideas.  Hopefully these will give you some ideas.  Unless otherwise noted, everything is made from scratch.  Please let me know if you're interested in any of the recipes.

Week 1
  • Surf & Turf (this was a special birthday dinner), baked potatoes, corn
  • Black bean soup, rice
  • Spaghetti squash with spaghetti sauce
  • Leftovers
  • Pork chops, mashed potatoes, green beans
  • Pizza
  • Roast turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, corn
Week 2
  • Burgers, chips, green beans
  • Baked spaghetti squash pie
  • Posole (a Mexican soup with pork & hominy), corn tortillas
  • Leftovers
  • Turkey pot pie
  • Sloppy joes, fries, corn
  • Roast chicken, roasted carrots, corn, Mexican rice
Week 3
  • Alphabet soup, bread
  • Lasagna, garlic bread
  • Steak, Mexican rice, peas
  • Ablondigas (meatball) soup
  • BBQ pork sandwiches, corn, chips
  • Pork tenderloin with apricot glaze, baked potatoes, green beans
  • Split pea with ham soup
Week 4
  •  Hot dogs, chips, veggies
  • Corn chowder
  • Steak, Mexican rice, black beans, fresh corn tortillas
  • Stir fry on brown rice
  • Macaroni & "cheese", sausages, peas
  • BBQ pork sandwiches, chips, green beans
  • beef roast with roasted carrots & parsnips, baked potatoes
Week 5
  • BBQ pork sandwiches, chips, corn
  • Keilbasa soup 
  • Spicy chicken sandwiches, chips, strawberry smoothies
  • Pork chops w/ apricot sauce, rice, corn
  • Steak, Mexican rice, black beans, fresh corn tortillas
  • Leftovers
  • Spaghetti squash pie, garlic french bread
